Freya von Freren is a beautiful 1-2 year old German Shepherd.  Lovely Freya with the golden coat and adorable white socks may appear to be a shy girl… but don’t be fooled.  She’s a ton of fun and always ready to go.   When she’s out, Freya walks well on leash, whether it’s just the two of you or if she’s part of a pack walk.  She meets friendly dogs well on leash but does take a pause when a pushy dog comes on too strong.  At home, Freya enjoys all the attention and affection you can muster.  In return, she will seek to greet you with hugs.  Freya is a momma dog and she always likes to keep an eye on you.  It’s rare that you will find her too far away, and that is exactly how Freya likes it.   Around other dogs, Freya prefers the company of those with a similar easy-going personality.  She gets good marks in playgroups and seems to be comfortable being among friendly dogs.  Freya is still rather young and has a medium-plus energy level; she will benefit from some basic training to help with her exuberant greetings.  So if you are a home that offers affection and learning, and are cat-free, Freya might be just the girl for you.
